There is a group of young performers dancing all year long in Portsmouth Square in San Francisco
LionDanceME on Season 7 of America's Got Talent battling it out in the quarter finals. It was an amazing run, and we were able to put lion dancing on the map!
夏敬文、夏敬麟，夏氏第四代傳人，其祖父：夏國璋，是柔功門掌門先師夏漢雄先生之子。兩兄弟立志繼承祖業，推動醒獅文化，改變過去的人對舞獅的偏見。其間兩兄弟努力嘗試將舞獅的訓練變得更有系統，目的是將舞獅變成國際競技活動。
「舞獅」寓意吉祥如意，是華人流傳千年的傳統文化。香港流行的「醒獅」，則屬舞獅中的南獅派系，依靠舞者剛柔相濟的動作呈現獅子的形態，每逢喜慶佳節、盛大慶典時，熱鬧助興、備受歡迎。 夏敬文，是香港夏國璋龍獅團的第四代傳人。他將家族傳統發揚光大，苦練基本功，年紀輕輕就已經成為了9屆舞獅世界冠軍，被稱為「獅王之王」。他更是頂住壓力，將西方流行元素加入舞獅之中，令傳統的舞獅煥發出年輕的光彩。

Yau Kung Mun is an extraordinary southern style of Kung Fu, Developed in the Shaolin Temple of China from the tiger and leopard styles more than 1400 years ago. Martial Art remains an integral part of Yau Kung Mun’s teachings; our skill in Lion and Dragon dance is world renowned.
Yau Kung Mun constantly strives to achieve a higher level of perfection, performance and professionalism. Apart from the Chinese entertainment scene in Sydney, we also offer classes in lion dance, dragon dance and also conduct exclusive classes in Yau Kung Mun Kung Fu in Sydney.
